The Windy Coast
If you’ve been to Canada’s eastern shores, then when you look at this piece you can almost certainly feel the wind on your face. This painting depicts the rocky shoreline and rolling hills of Nova Scotia, Mcleod Point to be exact. Crashing waves, soaring gulls and a bright, cold sky will remind many of us of a favourite province.

Oil on canvas board. Framed in a carved wood and plaster frame. Clearly signed in lower left. Signed, Patsy, ‘72. Label on back of painting clearly reads 'Macleods Point, Ingonish.' Circa 1970s.

Condition
Painting is in very good condition, no yellowing, no tearing or repairs. Colours remain true. Frame has a substantial amount of chipping, exposing the white plaster in many spots.
